Digital Voltmeter and Ammeter – 0 to 100V 10A Description
This Digital Voltmeter and Ammeter – 0 to 100V 10A connects directly into your power line and displays the voltage and current. The voltage and current are shown on brilliant, three-digit 7-segment digit displays. The voltage is displayed in red while the current is shown in blue. It will measure any voltage from 0V to 100V and current up to 1A. The character height of this display is 0.28″.
Voltmeters measure voltage, whereas ammeters measure current. Some of the meters in automobile dashboards, digital cameras, cell phones, and tuner-amplifiers are voltmeters or ammeters. The internal construction of the simplest of these meters and how they are connected to the system they monitor give further insight into applications of series and parallel connections.
Voltmeters are connected in parallel with whatever device’s voltage is to be measured. A parallel connection is used because objects in parallel experience the same potential difference. Ammeters are connected in series with whatever device’s current is to be measured. A series connection is used because objects in series have the same current passing through them.
