In 2022, we designed and built a custom electric go-kart that pushed the limits of performance with a top speed of 120 km/h — powered by just a 2 kW BLDC motor and a 2.75 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This project was a perfect fusion of lightweight engineering, power optimization, and clean electric performance.

🧠 Engineering Insights
This project taught us a lot about thermal management, regenerative braking options, and aerodynamics. We also experimented with gear ratios and PWM tuning for speed control and safety. Every cell in the battery pack was individually tested and balanced before welding to ensure consistent performance.
